D&A’s vibe is calm and leisurely travel. Our objective was to bring out a look that spoke of the brand’s deep connection to romantic elsewheres.
As carefully and meticulously as their pieces are crafted and curated, the logo was thoughtfully designed with wave and anchor details, alluding to the brand’s dream of bringing together cultures and stories from all over the globe into your home.
The monogram and motifs are paired with contemporary stylistic choices in order to remain graphically flexible. Deep olives and light cream tones reflect D & A’s earthy philosophy, while sparing metallic flourishes and high quality paper choices tie into the brand’s focus on craft.
The full identity system—translated into the showroom’s interiors, product labels, catalogues, and print and online communication efforts—balances the minimal with the eclectic, putting the product line at the fore of the design and helping customers recognize the brand’s deeper connections to the various traditions, cultures, and crafts it seeks to uplift.
The D&A identity combines the many motifs and patterns present in Southeast Asia. Pared down down to a subtle, minimal visual style, the design direction intersects traditional and modern sensibilities seen in the eclectic pieces they showcase.
