This vital position in our studio requires someone with a firm design philosophy and the confidence to ideate and develop concepts from the ground up.
The role of a Brand Strategist in Serious Studio is to guide the development of business-driven marketing and creative strategies for brands. In this position, you will be instrumental in shaping brands—both new and old—for the local market and beyond.
As a part of the “Make Sense” team, you will need to have a deep understanding of branding and the role it plays in the world. You need to have an appreciation of the business and marketing side of design, and how branding can make businesses, services and products more meaningful. Empathy is at the core of what we do, and we value people who have a strong ability to understand people from all walks of life.
Alongside the design team, you will oversee Serious Studio’s visual standards, and contribute in inspiring the design team’s creative output. Having great taste, a strong sense of intuition, and a solid vision are key characteristics needed to fulfill this role. We prefer someone with agency / related creative experience.
You will meet with clients to understand their business objectives, and it is your role to translate these objectives into marketing and creative strategies.
You will need to gather insights, data and research to create strong and solid brand strategies.

You will also be expected to learn and apply some business and marketing knowledge by taking part in directing the brand’s audience, pillars, tone, and more.
